A short story, Jesus is Sending You This Message, first appeared in issue 52 of the Ontario Review, April, 2000. and was selected for the Best New Stories from the South anthology, edited by Shannon Ravenel, due out from Algonquin Books in October 2001.

Jim's story Into Greenwood is the cover story for the September 2001 issue of Asimov's Science Fiction.

A selection from Jim's forthcoming book Boulevard appears in Men on Men 2000, edited by David Bergman and Karl Woelz, just out from Plume Books.

A story titled Peggy's Plan was published in the October/November 2000 issue of Asimov's Science Fiction.
